Mock Exam

So this week we sat a mock exam for just over 1hr 30 minutes . Having our first attempt at what a real exam might be like. Although we didn't have the preliminary material / brief to work with.

The mock exam is below:





As I explained in class the preliminary material is released 4 weeks before the exam, and usually sets it up as a creative brief for us to work on.

Starter:

Watch the following clips and try to find 10 conventions of broadcast news intro titles:
(watch all 8 if necessary)



Main Activity:
Using the storyboard sheets provided (in one of the blue trays at front by the board!)

Try to storyboard a 20-30 second News Intro titles for a new news programme you have created.



Plenary:

Identify (in your books) how you have used conventions of real credits sequences in your own designs and how you have tried to appeal to you audience.
